You will find our Book Café Hos Morten in the very center of Ystad. A very short distance from the lively pedestrian street – Stora Östergatan- with many shops of all kinds.

We are located in an old protected house, built in the end of the eighteen century. In our beautiful cobble stone garden, with lots of flowers, we have an outdoor café during the summertime.

Indoors it is very warm and cosy with lots of books at the walls. You can sit in our comfortable sofa, or at some of the tables, to enjoy something to eat or drink.

During autumn/winter/spring we are open Tuesday to Saturday from 11 am. Tuesday to Friday 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, we serve a hot soup of the day and baked potato with delicious fillings. The year around, the whole day, we also serve grilled bruschetta, Danish open sandwiches (smørrebrød) nice pastries etc.

After midsummer (2010 it will be June 28) we are open Monday to Saturday from 10 am.
